Villa Scala is the only privately-owned villa located atop a mountain on the grounds of the world famous Villa Vera Hotel Spa and Racquet Club. The Villa boasts 180-degree views of all of Acapulco from Las Brisas to downtown Calita. Yes, that includes the fabulous sunsets!
This very private mansion has been updated with state-of-the-art technologies that have been craftily blended into the original architecture. The various pools, fountains, waterfalls, driveways, walkways and gardens have been restored beyond their original elegance. Fabian Compton a renowned artist has recreated aged walls, ceilings, frescos and hand painted details throughout the villa, inspired by designs from a landmark mansion built for Spanish nobility in 1756. The furnishings from Italy, Spain, Morocco, Mexico and the US supply an additional air of worldly elegance.
This Magnificent Villa boasts four huge Air-conditioned bedroom suites with beautiful antique Talavera tile baths and a separate guest house with living room. All suites enjoy high-definition flat screen TV’s and American satellite TV with 500+ channels (HBO, Showtime CineMax, News Channels and Spanish Language channels). Each suite is equipped with a SENTRY hotel type safe that you can program with your own code. Also each suite has a leather bound book containing recommendations and ratings based on 43 years of experience in Acapulco, for restaurants, bars, dance clubs, beaches, massages, boat rentals and much more.
For those who love to cook there is a new chef’s kitchen that blends into the antiqued-styled kitchen with cupola-tiled ceiling and arches. Of course there is a Chef, one of the best in all of Acapulco, and a butler who speaks fluent English, a maid, a laundress and gardener/porter.
The elegant arched open-air dining room with huge antique Spanish Alabaster chandelier seats 10 comfortably. There are breathtaking views of Las Brisas, the Sierra Madre Mountains and the almost nightly fireworks over Acapulco Bay.
The spacious living room with its own garden, Koi pond and fountain will seat 16 comfortably.
The outdoor Palapa (Entertainment Pavilion) features a beautiful bar with refrigerator and bottled-water icemaker. There is an additional outdoor dining area and lounge, and the oversize pillowed couches are so comfortable you will not want to leave the Palapa. There is a new built-in Gas BBQ with Talavera-tiled buffet service area. In addition, there is a Talavera-tiled wood burning BBQ next to the kitchen for the purist.
For those who enjoy a good party there is a state-of-the-art sound system with a 300-disc CD player (fully-loaded with every type of music) as well as an IPOD stand to play your own music through the system. For the singer in you, there are 2 professional microphones jacked into the system for Karaoke performances and there is a huge bottom-lit dance floor surrounded by 6 large stereo speakers.
The hotel-size pool with huge waterfall and surrounding gardens are nothing less than magnificent. The villa's grounds boast an abundance of fruit trees that include Orange, Lemon, Banana, Zapote and Mango trees, ripe for the picking.

All 4 bedrooms are suites. The Main Mansion contains The Julio and The Enrique Master Suites and the Guest House features a living room, bedroom and bath and a Palapa Suite. All suites overlook Acapulco Bay.
